Schindler House

The Schindler House is one of LA’s most renowned sites for residential architecture… aaaand a popular backdrop for fit pics circulating on social media. Built in 1922 by R.M. Schindler, the concrete-and-redwood residence helped shape early Southern California modernism. The layout is unconventional but intuitive.

Timed entry tickets are required ($7–10). Open Wednesday through Sunday, generally 10 am to 5 or 6 pm.
