Better known as “Huntington Gardens,” this 207-acre estate in San Marino combines botanical gardens, art collections, and research libraries in one expansive property. There are 16 specialized gardens on site, including the Chinese Garden, Japanese Garden, Desert Garden, and Rose Garden, and everything is genuinely so gorg.
You can bring a little picnic or reserve a tea service at the Rose Garden Tea Room. Tickets usually range from $24 to $36, depending on the day. Prepare to spend at least a few hours here, and plan ahead. Weekends often sell out.
