Community Goods + Architecture books

Community Goods is probably LA’s most famous coffee shop; dare we say it’s become culturally significant? The most popular items on the menu are the matcha, Spanish latte, and breakfast sliders, which are worth the hype. The main location is rarely seen without a line, but there are other, more discreet locations at the Pacific Design Center and at Architecture Books across the street, which only serve drinks.

Architecture Books itself is a quieter, design-forward bookstore stocked with architecture and art coffee table books. It’s usually a shorter wait than the main Community Goods location and a nice place to browse before continuing down Melrose — closed Tuesdays.
