Located in Pasadena, the Norton Simon Museum houses one of LA County’s most quietly stacked collections. The space is compact but dense, filled with European paintings, Impressionist works, rotating exhibitions, and a sculpture garden tucked just behind the main building. Expect Van Gogh, Picasso, and other European heavyweights.
It’s within walking distance of Old Town Pasadena, Lower Arroyo Park, and the Colorado Street Bridge. General admission is around $15, with free entry for students.
